The company is looking to strengthen its workforce and is seeking:

SPORTS MARKETING & EVENT SPECIALIST – MOUNTAIN RUNNING

The ideal candidate will join the Brand and Communication Marketing team to ensure the presence of the La Sportiva brand in all markets through the planning of event sponsorship, local activations and athlete coordination.
In particular, you will be responsible for the following activities:

• Supporting the team in developing operational plans to enhance the brand through athlete sponsorship strategies, events and relationships with technical partners, in line with the allocated budget
• Ensuring the proper management of direct relations with the pool of athletes, from the signing, renewal and management of contracts to the monitoring of sporting performance and image management
• Ensuring collaboration with key players in the mountain running community, managing contractual aspects and the supply of materials
• Develop forecasts for products intended for use in the materials testing park and ensure their organised and scheduled use based on sponsored events
• Contribute to the structuring and organisation of major sporting events in line with the assigned strategies and budgets
• Provide operational support to the Sales Department for the activation and management of events in partnership with customers

Requirements:

• Degree in Economics or diploma supported by proven experience in the role
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Excellent knowledge of the Office suite
• Passion for the product and outdoor activities, preferably knowledge of and/or involvement in the world of mountain running
• Good teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel frequently both nationally and internationally
